Town and Country Shelter Rescue is committed to saving animals and ensuring they find safe, loving homes. Our mission is fueled by compassion and a vision to end pet homelessness through dedicated care and community efforts.
| Town and Country Shelter Rescue has been serving the DFW area animals since 1997. We are a private, dedicated all volunteer and all breed rescue group working to save the lives of animals through our continued rescue and adoption efforts combined with community support and education. We actively support spay and neuter programs, care and proper treatment education and permanent placement into loving homes. All funds are used in support of the animals in our care. Your help and interest is greatly appreciated. All the animals we have in our possession are cared for in private homes until they are adopted. Each foster determines they types of animals they can handle and properly care for. TCSR, through adoption fees and donations provides for their food, supplies and vet care until the animal is placed into its permanent home. With each animal, we provide a medical history that details what care has been rendered and when. However, in many cases the animals are rescued and come with no history. We, therefore, start them over and provide you with what we have provided. The following details the minimum services each animal receives: Worming Booster Shot Heartworm testing and treatment if required – maintained on preventative FeLV/FIV testing Rabies Booster Spay or Neuter Flea Treatment All efforts are made to ensure the pet you have chosen is healthy. However, because these animals have come from unknown backgrounds and are then made available to the public at large to love on, there is always a potential for something to be passed along (e.g. kennel cough, URI, ringworm, fleas etc). We make every effort to provide a healthy animal for you. |
